So last week everyone in the arts and health world was extremely busy with networking and events for Creativity and Wellbeing Week. Yet again a brilliantly successful week was had by all!
Here at the Free Space Project we held a number of events. Firstly our Arts & Health Hub peer group. This an in-person monthly event run by Daniel Regan supporting artists working or interested in arts & health to share ideas or works and gain feedback. It’s open to all: any discipline, background, experience, with no pressure to ever share work or even comments. It’s a safe place to meet likeminded people with a shared vision: to lift one another up!
Our next group is July 22nd. Please see the website for more information.
On Wednesday we held our Intuitive Collage workshop with the amazing Michael Crossan. Michael has run a number of succesful workshops here and they are always extremely popular. During this workshop Michael encouraged people to not think to much about the process and to be intuitive about the images they picked. We then spent the next two hours mindfully cutting, sticking and creating and it was extremely relaxing and enjoyable.
Here are some images of the work being created…
