Pain Space

Pain Space

Category: /

Pain Space is a support group linked to the Camden Pain Assessment and Management Service (CPAMS). The group is for people living with long term pain. It will run monthly and people can drop in as little or often as they wish.

Pain Space offers support but does not provide treatment for pain. Group members help one another to build on the skills they developed during a Pain Management Programme.

The group aims to help people remain active and live full, meaningful lives in spite of ongoing pain. There will be opportunities to try out gentle exercise, listen to a talk from invited speakers or just to chat together over a cup of tea.
We recommend that people complete a pain management programme run by health care professionals first and you can ask your GP to refer you to this.

The next groups run on:

9th April: 2pm – 4pm

4th June: 2pm – 4pm

2nd July: 2pm – 4pm

13th August: 2pm – 4pm

3rd September: 2pm – 4pm

1st October: 2pm – 4pm

5th November: 2pm – 4pm

3rd December: 2pm – 4pm
